Sunny Tells the Truth
For: Little fibs
Sunny has the brightest smile in the Hollow, and the busiest. So when she tears the glow-garland she was trusted to carry, she does what every eager-to-please child has done: she hides it, and tells a little one. Fib by fib, small grey clouds pile up over her glow — until the girl made of sunshine can’t be found at the festival of light. One brave, true word sets it all free. A warm, honest story that never calls the fibber bad.
For the eager-to-please child who bends the truth to keep everyone smiling — the covered-up mistake, the “I didn’t,” the fib that grows because owning it feels too scary.
Every Little Light gives your child one small word to keep. This one is
shouted — the truth bursts the clouds
You don’t have to teach it. The story hands it over, and children carry it out on their own — into the dark, the meltdown, the moment they need it.
“Speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.”
One verse per book — never a billboard. A Christian family finds it and feels fed; every other family reads a beautiful story and never feels preached at.
One Hollow, one light. We only shine like this together.
